Note: This variant of Stasm has been superseded by the latest version of Stasm.

If you just want to try out (the old variant of) Stasm on a Windows system, there are two easy options. (These are self installing programs. They can be easily uninstalled by running the included uninstaller, or from "Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs", leaving no trace on your system):

Wasm utility with file interface (shown on the right)
Casm utility with webcam interface

You might also like to try WinThatch. This utility "thatcherizes" the face in the webcam. (See the Wikipedia article for details. This software was used by the BBC in Bang Goes The Theory.)
